As the public face of the Scouts, Bear Grylls promotes our values to a huge audience, inspiring thousands to gain new skills and look to the future with optimism.

David Beckham

David Beckham was a scout growing up, he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and joined as a Cub Scout.

Richard Branson

Richard Branson, the entrepreneur known for his Virgin empire, was once a member of the Scouts. He was once quoted as saying that “Scouting got me away from the desk, got me doing useful, fun & exciting things”.

Tim Peake

European Space Agency astronaut, Major Tim Peake was appointed Scout Ambassador for the Scout Association in 2017.

He was the first British astronaut to walk outside the International Space Station in January 2016, and also ran the London Marathon from the treadmill onboard the ISS.
